Hey r/pipetobacco! I have been piping for about a month now and its all because of this sub. I am going to give my impressions of the hobby and what I have tried and liked and not liked so far. I forget exactly how I stumbled upon this sub but after a week of lurking I had ordered my first pipe and some tobacco from pipes and cigars. I ordered a cob pipe and five tobaccos. As I was waiting for my order to arrive I kept seeing posts about Powdered Toast Man. Black Friday came about and /u/coldsolderjoint posted about a pop up store he was opening and was selling some PMT. I purchased some as soon as I could get to the page. Thank you /u/coldsolderjoint it is delicious and I appreciate your offer. Now all I had to do was wait. My pipe and various tobaccos were on the way for me to give this whole pipe thing a whirl. Pipes and cigars played a mean joke on me. When my package arrived the following week it had all five tobaccos I ordered but my pipe was nowhere to be found. I called their customer service and they 2-dayed me the pipe.

EDIT: Hospitals can't accept a personal cpap machine. So the notion that you can donate your machine may have legal ramifications. END EDIT In the following video is a doctor in ny is asking for cpap machines. apparently they can be used for patients who do not need the full strength of a ventilator machine, supplies of which are running out. also hospital are still getting patients for other issues who may get by with just a cpap machine which will free up the ventilators for the covid-19 patients. APAP (automatic positive airway pressure) and BiPAP (bilevel positive airway pressure) seems to be more sophisticated machines and are probably even better. I have no association with the following company, just using it because he explains things well. I bet there are millions of unused cpap, apap, bipap machines out there that can be donated to a hospital. I bet you can probably deduct such a donation from your taxes too. I would contact a hospital before dropping them off. IMO it would better to mail these things to the hardest hit places.

The series is also the first in the medium to bear cosmic horror as one of the major elements of the narrative —an element which would be picked up by later entries of one of its mecha forebearers. The series was also the focal point of a paradigm shift in sci-fi action animation spearheaded by legendary animator Ichiro Itano, which helped to form the more intricate, dynamic, and cohesive style of battle choreography that would become more common thereafter. Ichiro Itano's involvement also provided us with the first ever Itano circus being contained within the series itself. Beyond its significant historical value, Ideon is still a compelling and unique experience within a niche which few other series can decisively best. The series' dedication to depicting and making us share in the character's circumstances, using all that it has to make us as distressed, dispirited, and fearful as the characters themselves, which makes for a surprisingly effective and harrowing viewing experience which one will soon not forget.
Beat selection was perfect. Fast Times at Ridgemont Fly (August 2008) Fast Times (Feat. Marcelo) - Spitta's older brother shines on this track Still Ridin' (Feat. Young Roddy and Street Wiz) Brett Favre - This is my regular alarm in the morning Modern Day Hippie - This is my alarm if I have to wake up for some serious shit Even without the alarms, this tape is a constant in my life because I simply don't get tired of it. Infectious flow. How Fly, with Wiz Khalifa (2009) Layover Surface to Air In the sub-genre of 'weed rap', this has got to be a top 5 release. Stoners get so nostalgic to this shit. Simpler days of joints after class. If folks appreciate this I'll do a follow up with his mixtapes after 2010. Hope the mods don't remove this because it took some time and is for the authentic heads. Jet life

Please note that in the first video, the person indicated that promised supplies are not getting to her. If you plan on donating try to find actual doctors or nurses. Try to avoid middlemen. There are many websites that list physicians and their contact information. I would try emailing first. FDA recently approved the usage of cpap machines. turns out the US has only 162, 000 ventilators with possibly 15, 000 to 17, 000 available by the US government. However, they estimate that we will need 900, 000 machines. So clearly, not using cpap machines is not an option. Another benefit of cpap machines is that you do not need a pulmonary technician to run them. These machines maybe key to saving 100 of thousands of lives. Also, CPAPs are much easier to operate - most owners use them in their own homes without outside assistance - and therefore, unlike hospital ventilators, do not require pulmonary technicians to operate them; another great advantage since such specially trained operators are also expected to be in very short supply.
